Addressees, Institutions, and Goals of the British Propaganda

To this day, 91 years after the end of hostilities, the First World War still holds a special place in the European Consciousness. The name was already coined during the hostilities, based partly on the enormous casualties, but also on the impression in 1914/15 that it would be “The War that will End War” (H. G. Wells in 1915) no matter how high the price of victory would be.

Courtesy of the Sydney Morning Herald, comes a leaked copy of the restrictions being placed on Chinese media outlets for the duration of the Olympics.

Over the last few years, a number of websites, supposedly run by groups of "concerned citizens" have sprung up criticizing climate change science, and lobbying against environmental policy. Fair enough, people are entitled to their views... but a lot of these outfits aren't what they seem at all. In an environment in which many people talk of some kind of giant conspiracy to over-hype climate change for some vaguely defined reason, a very clear and well-documented conspiracy is taking place, completely legally, before our eyes.
