Well you know you've hit the big time in blogging when you start getting hate-mail! Apparently I've offended a Christian AOL user with my article about MuhammedTube! This is particularly ironic, since the study I blogged about yesterday notes among other things that AOL users are more susceptible to being fed nonsense. "DiamondGuzzler" has obviously been guzzling a healthy diet BS with his glittering appetizers. Here's his mini rant in full...

He was so angry, he couldn't even spell the subject correctly ("athesism"?) and he finished at a comma! Anyway, ever happy to get some feedback, I replied:

I don't hate Christians at all. I don't even hate you. I feel sorry for you, that you're so angry and full of hate that you feel the need to spew venom at me.
I believe it was Jesus who said in Luke 6, verse 29, "and unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other". Turn the other cheek, kid, it's what Jesus would have wanted ;)
I hope you manage to figure out a way to be happy again soon. If you're ever in Cambridge, England, call by for a beer!

I like your response, and I hope he/she learns to think a little more carefully from this! I think it's always better to give a non-antagonistic response to these kinds of letters, so that we demonstrate just how wrong they are.
I consider hate mail a bit of a compliment. Just a good way of having theists let you know that you've struck a nerve and done a good job.
Well Martin, post my quote, maybe i will be famous one day, I think it is rather ironic that my restrained response to your atheist hateful opinioniated ranting is something you feel is so offensive and extraordinarily amusing in it's stupidy that someone would dare to have an opinion you don't share, I find incredible. If you are going to quote Jesus and I love that you do, then why not become a Christian? as you agree with what Jesus says, what prevents you from realising that there is more to existance than what your two eyes can see. You have a choice, you can be conditioned by society, you can believe there is no God, justify all your sinful behaviour but this will not benefit you in the slightest or you can concieve that 2000 years ago Jesus Christ , literally God on earth, died on a cross and shed his blood for all those who will believe and in this way inherit the promise of salvation from the penalty for sin and eternal life in heaven. Christian Prince's websites give an insight and valuble information regarding the false demonic religon of Islam, we see causing so much horror and widespread atrocities in the world today. Martin , you have to come to terms with the fact that not everyone agrees with you, turning the other cheek does not mean appeasing an evil cult, become a Christian and learn the context of scripture. Dear Susan, your comments are worthless just like your atheism, how did you demonstrate I'm wrong? Because you like to appease Islamic extreemism murder and atrocities worldwide and are willing to sell your country for £1 to Arab invaders? I also encourage you to rediscover your Christian Heritage and pray to God and Jesus Christ. I hope soon people will become sick of political correct nonsence and atheist twaddle and return to the God they loved, knew and prayed to. I often pass on medical knowledge Ive picked up over the years - does that mean I should become a doctor? Or a nurse? Your arguement is flawed, similar to most of the arguements I see from overexcited christians accusing people of trying to force across their own opinion - ironically, while trying to force across their own opinion.
Leave the debating to the professionals. You're not only embarrasing yourself but also the millions of intelligent christians who cringe every time they read posts from people like yourself.
