The Lay Scientist is a multi-author blog with over 20 casual bloggers, edited by Martin Robbins, and covering themes around science, rational-thinking, religion, health, the environment, economics, and evidence-based politics.
We are looking to grow significantly in 2010, and we are always on the lookout for good new writers.
There is no requirement for authors to post frequently. Post when you like, what you like as long as it fits with the general vibe and themes of the site, and as long as your writing is clear, rational and reasonably evidence-based.
We can't pay you yet, but blogging for us could be a great way of promoting your own writing, communicating your research or ideas, or getting the frustrations of an irrational world off your chest!
Look around, explore the different categories we cover, and if you feel you'd like to contribute - whether it's once a year or three times a week - get in touch at layscience@googlemail.com.
